I’m an interior design enthusiast with a passion for fresh classic design, everything blue and white, sisal rugs, ginger jars, wicker, and stripes. I admire the talented professionals who can take a blank canvas and instinctually transform it into a beautiful and timeless space.  I appreciate the little details that help us live a more beautiful life: a stunning tablescape, a perfectly wrapped package, a gorgeous arrangement of fresh flowers.

On Linden & Hill, I will feature a curated collection of home and garden inspiration while showcasing local designers and gorgeous homes of the North Shore suburbs of Chicago and beyond. My hope for this blog is to provide design content that is both aspirational and attainable.

After living in the same house for over 20 years, my home is in need of a refresh to more accurately reflect my personal style. I love to look at beautiful spaces and figure out how to apply the same design elements to my home in a budget-friendly way. I can’t wait for you to follow along and help me in the process!

About the Name
The name Linden & Hill is an homage to an intersection that holds special meaning to me. It’s the location of my beloved parish and the school my children attended.  It represents a community that welcomed me and where I made cherished, lifelong friends. It is an intersection I have driven to and from hundreds of times over the past 20 years, and the gorgeous homes I passed along the way have provided me with endless inspiration.
