Happy Monday! I’m excited to start the week by sharing the work of North Shore Chicago designer Ashley Colombo of Ashley Colombo Interiors. The daughter of an interior decorator, Ashley always had a strong passion for design and was frequently asked by friends and family to assist with their design projects. After 17 years of corporate success on the east coast in media and fashion, Ashley switched gears in 2017 and put her exceptional creative talents to work full-time as an interior designer.
A Chicago native, Ashley relocated back to the North Shore in 2018 and has been helping homeowners create stylish spaces using her keen attention to detail. Not afraid of color, Ashley’s designs are vibrant and chic with the perfect balance of beauty and functionality. I love her fabric and wallpaper choices and expert pattern-play. Her designs incorporate many of my favorite textiles and wallcoverings from Quadrille, Schumacher, and Thibaut.
I work with clients to create fresh and colorful spaces that are both beautiful and practical. From fabrics and furniture to accents and styling and with the right pops of pattern and color, a house looks effortlessly chic. I like to have fun with design – classic with a twist!
